UH football remains undefeated after crushing UConn with 42-14 win

HOUSTON — Houston was seeing red Thursday night as the Houston Cougars avenged their lost last season against the UConn Huskies.

In a match that took place at UH’s TDECU Stadium, Houston destroyed the Connecticut with a 42-14 win.

Cougars QB Greg Ward, Jr. threw for three scores and ran for two others in a dominant performance.

UH currently ranks No. 6 in the national for college football and is now 5-0 for the season.

The Cougars will be on the road next weekend for their game against Navy Oct. 8 in Indianapolis, Ind.
