HUMBLE, Texas–Harris County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested and charged a 19-year-old man after he wounded four people, including two young children, after opening fire during a dispute over a woman.

According to investigators, Timothy Caston was at his home with friends in the Kenswick Meadows subdivision at around 6 p.m. on Sept. 26 when a group of teens approached him and an argument erupted.

Caston then grabbed a handgun and began shooting, deputies say.

An 18-year-old and his 15-year-old brother were grazed by bullets, in addition to two children who were hit by bullets in the lower leg area while playing soccer in their front yard across the street.

Nine teens were detained after the shooting.

Witnesses were able to identify Caston as the shooter, and he was later arrested.
