Supreme Court Justice speaks out against Colin Kaepernick’s National Anthem protest

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Here's a Supreme surprise!

Someone who will not be joining in Colin Kaepernick's National Anthem protest anytime soon is 83-year-old Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsburg says Kaepernick's kneeling protest is really dumb and disrespectful.

The liberal-leaning high court Justice also thinks flag burning is a terrible thing to do.

But in both cases, she indicates she would not lock-up a person for doing such a deed.

Kaepernick started kneeling during the National Anthem protest back in August to call attention to racial inequality and police brutality around the nation.

Since then, many athletes across the country have jumped on the Kaepernick protest bandwagon.

But Ginsburg tells Yahoo that "it's dangerous to arrest people for conduct that doesn't jeopardize the health and well-being of other people."

Ginsburg just says she would "strongly take issue with the extreme point of view they are expressing when they do that."

Guess Ginsburg won't be putting on a Kaepernick jersey this season!
