Deputies: Man shoots, kills sister-in-law at Richmond area home

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas — A man is accused of shooting and killing his sister-in-law at the woman’s Richmond area home.

Marlon Muse, 33, is charged with murder.

Deputies were sent to a home in the 26100 block of Flinton Drive around 8:20 p.m. Sunday and found the victim, 38-year-old Lashonda Brown, dead from gunshot wounds.

Brown was married to Muse’s brother and the couple was allowing Muse to stay with them.

Muse was taken into custody and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.

No bond has been set and a motive for the shooting has not been revealed.
