Are you ready for some political football?

WASHINGTON — Hey political sports fans! Early voting is underway, which is like the 2-minute warning in the 4th quarter.  Just because one team is in the lead, anything can happen. Especially when neither is using a playbook.

In this election, the stakes couldn't be higher and speaking of, the Las Vegas Review-Journal is endorsing Donald Trump. Some call this a "Hail Mary" since this is the first major newspaper to back him.

But, what happens in Vegas may stay there. The latest ABC News tracking poll gives Hillary Clinton a 12-point edge nationally. Trump is crying foul!

"It's a heavily weighted poll with Democrats. Like the ABC phony poll that just came out. Totally phony poll."

Clinton's latest play seems to be for Democrats to take the senate. Taking advantage of several fumbles within the GOP. Trump has said he'll silence reporters, jail his opponent and support deportation. Even President Barack Obama's running with this ball.

"Apparently he has not heard of the 1st, 5th, and 14th amendments. Why would you support him?"

There's also been plenty of trash talk.

"I understand that I may be called a liar or opportunist," says Jessica Drake.  She is the 11th woman to publicly accuse Trump of inappropriate sexual behavior by hugging and kissing her without permission 10 years ago. The adult film star also alleges Trump offered her $10,000.00 to return to his hotel room.

Whistle-blowing WikiLeaks may be taking a time out from dumping Clinton's e-mails for now. But co-founder Julian Assange may still sack the former Secretary of State. He's promised to turn over even more of Hillary's hacked messages.

Trump's already looking down field, throwing out plans for his first 100 days in the Oval Office. He wants congressional term limits and a hiring freeze on most federal employees.

Clearly, both teams see the White House end zone within reach. But, we're throwing a flag on that play. It's just too soon for a victory dance!
