Gloves come off in political boxing ring as Megyn Kelly takes on Gingrich, Biden takes jab at Trump

NEW YORK —  First there was Madison Square Garden's  Fight of the Century. Then came the Thrilla in Manilla!

Now, political pot shots!

In one ring, FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly and former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.

Kelly: “What I said is, if Trump is a sexual predator, then it's a big story. And what we saw on that tape was Trump himself saying he likes to grab women by their genitals and kiss them against their will.”

Gingrich: “You are fascinated with sex and you don't care about public policy.”

In another ring, Vice President Joe Biden taking jabs at Donald Trump's locker room talk. “What a disgusting assertion for anyone to make! I wish we were in high school. I could take him behind the gym. That's what I wish.”

Trump’s response, “Did you see where Biden wants to take me to the back of the barn? Me. He wants it. I'd love that. I'd love that. Mr. Tough Guy.”

FOX host Sean Hannity's got President Obama against the ropes for joking about moving to Canada if Trump is elected. Hannity's offering to charter a plane for the Obama family.  “You wanna go to Canada, I`ll pay for you to go to Canada. Wanna go to Kenya? I`ll pay for you to go to Kenya. I have one stipulation. You can`t come back.”

When it comes to the verbal sparring, perhaps the president's got the last laugh. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show, Obama managed to make fun of himself by reading some recent tweets.  “President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States. Exclamation point. @realDonaldTrump. Well, @realDonaldTrump, at least I will go down as a president (mic drop)!”

The gloves are definitely off, and come Nov. 8, someone's going down for the count!
