Texans finish first half of season with 20-13 win over Lions

HOUSTON - The Texans will head into their bye week on a winning note, after beating the Detroit Lions 20-13 on Sunday.  The Texans led 14-3 at halftime and used a strong running game to close out the win.

Brock Osweiler threw for 186 yards and a touchdown, while running backs Lamar Miller and Alfred Blue combined for 97 yards rushing.

The Texans finish the first half of their season at 5-3, leading the AFC South division.
