HOUSTON —Join the Houston SPCA and Neiman Marcus at the Galleria mall for one of Houston’s most cherished holiday traditions this weekend.

The Holiday Windows of Life will be unveiled Friday at 8 a.m. on the first floor of Neiman Marcus inside the Galleria!

The community is invited to take part in this joyous, 28-year tradition featuring a festive window display designed by City Art Works.

Adoptable cats, kittens, puppies and small dogs will charm and delight crowds of holiday shoppers as they frolic in front of and behind the windows. Since 1988, thousands of orphaned, abused and neglected animals have been given a second chance at life though this event.

Pet adoptions will take place in front of Neiman Marcus from Friday and until Dec. 23. Experience the magic Monday through Friday, from 11a.m. to 8p.m. Weekend hours vary and can be found at www.HoustonSPCA.org.

Each adoption package includes a health evaluation, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination for animals three months and older, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, heartworm testing for dogs six months and older, an adoption gift courtesy of Hill’s Science Diet, a complimentary overall wellness examination from a VCA Animal Hospital and a Home Again microchip with free lifetime registration. Adoption fees vary and restrictions may apply.
