HOUSTON — Houston football fans feel rough after this weekend. Whether you’re sore about losing former University of Houston coach Tom Herman to the University of Texas or sore about the Texans falling  ‘short of expectations’ this season, we got some pigskin problems here in H-town.

First, rumors had Tom Herman going to LSU, but when the University of Texas canned Charlie Strong, it was a forgone conclusion. The man, the myth, the legend, Herman is headed back to his alma mater to coach the UT Longhorns.

As Cougars waved goodbye to Herman, Texans fans got to endure another week of Houston’s failed offense as the San Francisco Chargers served up the team’s first loss at home, 21-13.

Fans are quick to blame quarterback Brock Osweiler, but coach Bill O’Brien feels there’s plenty of blame to go around.

It’s rough being a Houston football fan this season, but the Texans have five games left in the regular season. Let’s hope they make the most of it.
