HPD: Homeless man injured during knife fight in SW Houston

HOUSTON — A homeless man was arrested early Monday morning after stabbing another homeless person in southwest Houston, police said.

Investigators said two men were fighting around 4 a.m. at a CVS Pharmacy on S. Main Street near Kirby Drive.  During the altercation, police said one of the men pulled out a pocket knife and cut the other on the arm and hand.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. His alleged attacker was arrested and is charged with aggravated assault

Houston police are still trying to learn what caused the fallout.
