HOUSTON -- Time for your Monday Motivation Fitness Tip of the Day. Unless you plan on trying out as a Texans linebacker, don’t make this football season weight
gain season! Instead of grabbing a beer, inevitably followed by a burp, try burpees!
Each time either team scores do a burpee for each point.
Field goal - 3 burpees
Touchdown - 6 burpees
Extra point - 1 burpee
Commercial break challenge:
20 jumping jacks,
20 push ups,
20 squat jumps
...before the commercial is over!
By the end of the game, not only will you have burned potentially hundreds of calories, but if you do reach for a celebretory beer, your body will be able to process the calories better. Go Texans!
