HOUSTON — DICK'S Sporting Goods teamed up with DeAndre Hopkins of the Houston Texans for a children's shopping spree Tuesday at Willowbrook Mall.

The 12 eager participants were selected by First & Goal. First & Goal is a local non-profit based in Houston that provides a unique service for youth to obtain resources to enhance academic, social and moral development.

The children were each given $100 to shop at the sporting goods store.

Hopkins acted as the children's shopping consultants to help purchase fun holiday gifts and sporting goods. DICK’S Sporting Goods was proud to sponsor this event as part of its effort to inspire and enable youth sports, the company officials said.
