NEW YORK — How much damage can a tweet do? A 4 percent hit on your stock price if you're fighter jet manufacturer Lockheed Martin/

Martin lost lost about $2 billion in value after President Elect Donald Trump let loose this little gem: 'The F-35 program and cost is out of control. Billions of dollars can and will be saved on military (and other) purchases after January 20th.”

Wonder if the government starts to buy from any of Trump's companies if they'll get a discount?

Oh, and that big press conference explaining how he'll separate himself from his businesses during his presidency...that's been postponed.

What is moving right along? Cabinet appointments. Trump nominated CEO of ExxonMobil Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State. Some have criticized Tillerson's relationship with Russia, and specifically Vladimir Putin.

“Anybody who's a friend of Vladimir Putin must disregard the fact that Vladimir Putin is a murderer, a thug,” Sen. John McCain said.

But Trump's transition posse says that's why Trump picked him!

“Tillerson has actually stood up and said 'no' to Vladimir Putin. He's also someone who has the respect of Putin,” Trump’s Communications Director Jason Miller said.

The Donald also picked Rick Perry to run a department the former Texas governor planned to abolish if he were president, if he could only remember the name...Oops! Oh, yes. Energy — that's the one!

This adds one more climate change denier to Trump's cabinet.

But for those that care, at least this one can be credited for massively increasing the wind power in his state.
