Rebels, drones, hot chicks and plumbers all on this week’s Glitch

HOUSTON — The rebels are a go! Disney’s “Rogue One” tells the story of just how those death star plans made their way from Imperial Intel to become a massive plot point in “A New Hope.”

Despite the #dumpstarwars alt-right online movement, claiming the film is the first shot of a new culture war against President Elect Donald Trump, some estimates have the film earning over $300 million globally this weekend.

Then talk about air mail. Amazon’s drone delivery service made it’s maiden voyage in merry ol’ England.

The automated flying robot delivered an amazon fire streaming device and bag of popcorn to a customer in Cambridge 13 minutes after it was ordered.

Service is limited to folks near their British base, but they plan to expand it in months, not years.

Also, the internet is a-buzz over two leading ladies.

First, Sonequa Martin-Green of "The Walking Dead" is announced as the lead in the new “Star Trek: Discovery” TV drama.   Don’t worry Sasha fans, she doesn’t plan to abandon Rick and the crew.

Then there’s a rumor that Megan Fox is being sized up to play Poison Ivy in the suicide squad spinoff, “Gotham City Sirens.” Sure she’s hot, but DC fans have some pretty high standards when it comes to acting.

And finally, Mario’s run begins today! Nintendo’s hopes lightning will strike twice after Pokémon Go’s summer success.   The new app Mario Run is partially free to play — but $9.99 for full access. On the upside: no in game purchases. So you won’t go broke feeding your phone game addiction. Bumming out half the mobile market though, for now - it’s only available on Apple devices.
