HOUSTON-- It was Friday August 25th, when the wind picked up and 51 inches of rain began to fall. No one had any idea of the tragedy Hurricane Harvey would bestow on the Bayou City.
It seemed to take mere seconds for the water rise to record heights as H-town went into rescue mode and regular people emerged as heroes of the storm.
Roads became rivers and the city rallied forming shelters to help thousands who lost everything.
