AUSTIN, Texas— The Austin Police Department reported there was no package explosion in south Austin on Tuesday night.
According to APD, An ‘incendiary device’ was recovered in what was thought to be a package bomb in the 9600 block of Brodie Ln.
Police do not believe this device is related to the previous package bombing.
The bomb scare comes on the hills of 5 other explosions in Texas’ capital within a week. The most recent bombing happened around 1 a.m. at a FedEx sorting center near San Antonio, law enforcement agencies said Tuesday evening.
