    HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — One man was burned alive and another was rescued after a fiery crash in northeast Harris County.   • HPD: Seven suspects caught with stolen ATM machine

    HOUSTON — Seven suspects were caught stealing an ATM machine near the Southwest Freeway. Police engaged in a short pursuit towards the Montrose area before crashing the truck. Five suspects fled the vehicle but were quickly captured. Two separate cars involved in the robbery were also stopped. The suspects will be charged with attempted burglary and organized crime.

  • Home invasion leaves one man dead in west Houston

    HOUSTON — Two men were shot in a deadly home invasion at an apartment complex in west Houston. It all happened around 8 p.m. on Wild Indigo street. Houston police said an unknown number of people broke into an apartment and started shooting. One man was taken to the hospital where he later died, investigators said. Police said a second victim drove himself to the hospital. He’s expected to survive. The Houston Police Department is still searching for the others involved.
