PHILADELPHIA, PA – It’s a plain shame what’s going on with flight attendants these days.

Republic Airlines flight attendant Jaclyn Luby went through security with her 38 in her purse.

The 27-year-old Luby has a license to carry, but says she forgot the gun was in her carry on. Things got worse when a police officer attempted to unload the weapon and instead triggered a discharge. The bullet went into a TSA break room but no one was injured. Though it may be the fastest TSA agents have ever moved.

Luby was taken into custody, ticketed with disorderly conduct then released.  No word yet if this honest, but stupid mistake, will have her saying ‘buh bye’ to her job.

In separate case, police located a passenger’s missing iPad in Horizon Air flight attendant Wendy Ronelle Dye home. Dye says she never used the iPad and planned to turn it over to Horizon officials. Cops might’ve believed her if they hadn’t found personal info, including her husband’s birthday, loaded on the tablet.

Dye was iBusted, charged with theft and suspended by the airline.
