NEW YORK CITY – Authorities in New York say that Kiana Howell and Makeeba Graham tried smuggling cocaine into the U.S. in their weaves.

Airport officials at JFK airport got suspicious when they noticed the women’s extra-tall weave. When they went in for a closer look, they found more than two pounds of cocaine woven into their hairdo.

The women had just come in from the South American country of Guyana. Howell told officials that her boyfriend in Guyana asked her to smuggle it in, but that she didn’t know the packages sewed into her weave had coke in it. Riiiggghhhtt!

The two women are now facing drug smuggling charges in a federal court in Brooklyn. And that’s how this wigged out duo became our Dumbasses of the Day!
