MOBILE, AL – A student at the University of South Alabama was shot dead over the weekend by a campus police officer.

Police say Collar was naked and outside the police station banging on the windows. When an officer went outside to check what was going on, Collar allegedly charged at him. Clearly Collar wasn’t armed. He was naked for crying out loud! But that didn’t stop the cop from drawing his gun and firing.

The shooting is raising a lot of anger for family and friends. They want to know why the officer didn’t try to stop Collar by other means, instead of using deadly force on an unarmed man.

The officer is on administrative leave. The District Attorney’s office will now conduct an internal investigation.
