USA- Feeling the pain at the pump? Maybe it’s time for you to starting pumping it up, because, as it turns out, the size of your A$$ effects what you spend on gas!

A 2010 consumer report found, the more we weigh, the more we pay and as American’s continue to expand, we’re upping our gas consumption by 1-billion gallons a year, on average! That much extra may seem like kind of a stretch, or maybe that’s just the sound of your waistline expanding, but by The Huffington Posts’ calculations if you drive a car that averages 31 miles-per-gallon, for every 100-pounds in your car, you’ll be spending an extra $31.32.

So your choices are to slim down and save, or just keep packin’ on those pounds making every trip you make to fill-up a real pain in the gas-hole!
