ANOTHER MAJOR FAIL BY AMERICA’S AGENTS IN BLUE. TSA AGENTS AT SEATTLE/TACOMA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WERE SUSPICIOUS WHEN MICHELLE DUNAJ CAME THROUGH THE SECURITY LINE WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

SO THEY DID WHAT ANY GOOD SECURITY AGENT IS SUPPOSED TO DO; THEY HUMILIATED HER. YOU SEE, MICHELLE HAS LEUKEMIA. SHE’S DYING. AND THE TRIP SHE WAS TAKING TO BE WITH HER FAMILY WAS HER LAST.

MICHELLE CALLED AHEAD AND ASKED HOW TO PACK HER PRESCRIPTIONS. BUT WHEN SHE GOT TO THE HEAD OF THE LINE, TSA SCREENERS WEREN’T SURE. THEY BROKE OPEN ONE OF HER IV BAGS TO INSPECT IT, CONTAMINATING THE SOLUTION INSIDE, THE FLUID SHE NEEDS TO KEEP HER ALIVE. THEN THEY ASKED HER TO LIFT HER SHIRT SO THEY COULD INSPECT HER BANDAGES. ALL OF THIS IN FRONT OF A LINE OF WAITING PASSENGERS. WHEN SHE ASKED FOR A PRIVATE ROOM TO CONDUCT THE SEARCH: “THEY JUST SAID THAT IT WAS FINE, THE LOCATION THAT WE WERE AT WAS FINE,” SHE SAYS.

A TSA SPOKESMAN SAID, “PASSENGERS CAN REQUEST A PRIVATE SCREENING WITH A WITNESS PRESENT.” BUT CLEARLY THAT WASN’T THE CASE FOR MICHELLE.

AFTER SPILLING HER MEDICINE AND EXPOSING HER BANDAGES TO EVERYONE IN LINE, THEY SENT HER ON TO ENJOY THE LAST DAYS OF HER LIFE, BUT NOT WITHOUT A FEW BAD MEMORIES TO TAKE WITH HER ALONG THE WAY.

“WHEN SOMEBODY WANTS TO TAKE A TRIP,” SHE SAYS, “ESPECIALLY WHAT I CALL AN END-OF-LIFE-TRIP BECAUSE YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, THEN IT BECOMES, IT’S EVEN MORE IMPORTANT THAN TAKING A TRIP.”
