OSLO, NORWAY – A royal mystery. The king of Ghana got a dose of the real world while traveling through Europe.

Oslo, Norway police say a pair of suspected thieves swiped King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s luggage right from the hotel’s lobby.

It was a major pay day for the suspected crooks: the luggage was filled with the king’s valuable, royal jewelry.

Listen: who are we to say what people should and shouldn’t be traveling with. But not watching a bag full of royal jewelry like a hawk? Come on!

Anyway, police are on the lookout for the suspects from the surveillance video.

Don’t these suspects know? Not all that glitters is gold. Sometimes it’s a pair of shiny handcuffs instead.
