Bacteria that makes gold, enough said!

Two professors at Michigan State University discovered a way for bacteria to make 99.9% pure gold. They took bacteria and combined it with gold chloride which has no real value and is kinda toxic. Once the bacterium ingest it and um well poops it out again bam; you re left with gold!

They call this process ‘microbial alchemy’ .
