TOKYO, JAPAN – There’s only one thing you can say about this next story. Yuck!

According to Japanese news and lifestyle magazine, Spa!, the latest trend among women in the land of the rising sun is diapers. Adult diapers. No, not aging women faced with the uncertainty of incontinence, young, vibrant otherwise healthy women, choosing to wear them.

Turns out that in the battle of the sexes, women have found their upper hand using the undergarments as a means to longer workdays and less potty breaks. Enough so that sales of adult diapers surpassed those of baby diapers last May. Even financial publications have begun showing investment opportunities in the market.

Most of the women interviewed for the magazine article admitted that they didn’t wear the diapers at home with their husbands or boyfriends, but did find them helpful during the workday.

But hey, we in Houston already knew how amazing a pair of depends could be; we’re the city that gave you Lisa Nowak after all.
