SYRACUSE, NY – It’s difficult to know who to trust these days; just ask Arthur Bundrage. The 28-year-old from Syracuse was shortchanged by a bank teller. But Arthur’s no dummy, he caught the mistake and went back to confront the teller. When he arrived, police arrested him.

Not really, it turns out, Arthur is a dummy and police say a bank robber too. According to Syracuse PD he’d just robbed an Alliance Bank. They say he’d demanded $20,000 and the teller handed over the money; but apparently less than Arthur wanted so he went back.

Responding to the 9-1-1 call, police arrived to find Arthur at the front door trying to get back into the bank. Arthur was arrested and has been charged with fourth degree larceny, and first degree stupidity.
