LOS ANGELES, CA – Halloween is supposed to be a time for scary and creepy stuff.

And a time for the little monsters to grab all the candy they can get their grubby hands on.

But this year, organized labor says you should look for the union label and buy only ‘union made’ candy, treats made in America.

The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor even provides a handy online site of ‘union approved’ candy featuring sweet treats made by American hands by the Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers Union, and the United Food and Commercial Workers union.

Baby Ruths, Butterfingers and just about anything Hershey are among the high-caloric, high-fructose corn syrupy goodies that union kids everywhere love and have earned the AFL-CIO seal of approval.

But, if you’re thinking about distributing ‘scab’ candy this Halloween, ask yourself WWTS: What would Tony Soprano say?
