CHICAGO, IL – Unless you’re a gluten for the stair master, most people don’t climb 103 flights of stairs in a row.  Especially if they’re missing a leg.

But Zac Vawter, who lost his right leg in a motorcycle crash three years ago, hiked his way up Chicago`s Willis Tower last weekend, as part of the Fourth Annual Skyrise Event for charity.  He made it all the way with his bionic prosthetic.

The leg has a powered knee and ankle, which both interact with Zac’s thoughts.  So when he pushes down, the device reads his intent and propels him up.

Got to love technology. Speaking of which, are we sure Zac didn’t just take the elevator?
