GUATEMALA CITY – Chances are if you’ve had a virus on your PC, you might have used the anti-virus software McAfee to clean up that mess. But the founder of the software, John McAfee, is going to need something really good to clean up this mess!

McAfee, who lived in Belize, had been on the run for months. He was arrested in Guatemala for entering the country illegally. Authorities in Belize wanted to question McAfee in the bizarre murder of his neighbor who was found shot to death. But like a scene out of soap opera, there’s a twist. McAfee says the murder happened just days after his dogs were poisoned. But, there’s another twist! Rumor has it there had been a long-time feud brewing between McAfee and his neighbor over the dogs. Ah-ha, so the plot thickens!

Guatemalan authorities no say McAfee is facing deportation back to Belize.

Running from the cops when you’ve got nothing to hide really doesn’t make much sense. But for McAfee’s sake, hopefully he wasn’t as dirty as an infected computer.
