The Chi Omega sorority chapter at Penn State University is in deep doo-doo after Onward State, a student-run blog, ran a story about the sorority’s recent Mexican-theme party and ran a photo that showed hand-made signs reading: “WILL MOW LAWN FOR WEED AND BEER” AND “I DON’T CUT GRASS, I SMOKE IT”.

The university is investigating and the sorority has apologized.

Last month, the writer of the story, who termed the photo a “racially insensitive image,” posted what some might consider a derogatory tweet aimed at fraternity members at Penn State, calling them “Greek c**** suckers.”
