NEW YORK, NY – It was a monster concert to raise money for the victims of a monster storm. The line-up for 12/12/12 was incredible, with performances from Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, The Who and Paul McCartney.

Mick Jagger said it best: ‘This has got to be the largest collection of old English musicians ever assembled in Madison Square Garden.’

It really was.

Also, what was up with the British invasion? The storm hit the states!

While the biggest news should have been the Nirvana reunion–make that ‘Sirvana’ reunion with Sir Paul, someone–or should we say something else stole the show.

Yes, Kanye ‘let me finish’ West hit the stage wearing a black leather skirt with matching leggings.kanye

Part of the new Kardashian Kollection, perhaps?

His wacky wardrobe choice exploded on Twitter.

Within minutes, Kanye’s skirt was tweetin’ up a storm: ‘you would not believe the chafing going on in here right now’ and ‘@kanyewest is taking me shopping for matching hooker boots tomorrow.’ Just to name a few.

Of course, Kim had to jump in: ‘Awwwwww I’m so excited right now!!! he looks so cute!!’

Ugh.

Even worse than his wardrobe was his song selection.

Nothing quite says ‘Hurricane Sandy relief’ like: ‘I ain’t saying she’s a gold digger, but she ain’t messin with no broke, broke’

The only thing ‘broke’ here is Kanye’s common sense!

Aside from that disaster, people from all over the world came together to raise money for this disaster. $30 Million in ticket sales alone.

Donations are still being tallied, and lots of cool memorabilia is being auctioned off, too.
