FTC warns parents: Kids’ apps share large amounts of data

WASHINGTON, D.C. – It’s generally not okay to steal from a kid; but some companies may be cheating our children.

Apparently, some kid-friendly smart phone apps shark their personal information. Now the Federal Trade Commission wants app developers to make it easier for parents to control privacy features.

The FTC is investing potential violations.
