Bulletproof backpack sales soar

KEARNS, UT – A Utah-based company, Amendment 2, says sales of bullet proof backpacks are way up. So much so, it’s even crashed their website. People are shelling out $100-$150, and we all know why.

Even since the shooting in Connecticut, a boy in Utah brought a gun to school just this week.

The gun apparently wasn’t loaded and the ammunition may not have even fit. But still. The school’s principal says the boy was worried about the events he heard on the news.
