HOUSTON, TX – We all know Chicago is the Windy City, but Houston doesn’t seem to be too far behind.
Thursday’s cold front brought with it, wind and plenty of it.
The strong winds even caused more than 60,000 homes to lose power during the in the early hours of the morning.
As we bundle up in our heavy coats we just have to look to other parts of the country to realize we don’t have it so bad.
Snow in the mid and northwest, and strong wind damage in the southeast.
So, we have to remember we’re not in Chicago as we battle the blustery winds around the Bayou City.
Though this might remind us that this is actually the end of December. The forecast for Christmas; we’ll be back in the 70’s.
