STATE COLLEGE, PA – The state of Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit against the NCAA.

Governor Tom Corbett says punishments against Penn State after the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal were extreme and unfair. Sanctions included reduced scholarships, a ban on post-season play, a $60 million fine and rescinding 14 seasons of football wins from Coach Joe Paterno.

Now Pennsylvania and the NCAA will duke it out in court. In the meantime Sandusky is serving 30 years for child rape.
