SHOW LOW, AZ – Arizona crews had to rescue three teenagers from a frozen lake Wednesday, after the ice cracked beneath them.

In the rescue video you can see crews had to pluck two teens from a dead tree they were hanging onto in the middle of the lake.

Rescuers say the teens were hanging onto the dead tree for more than two hours, without their shoes, because those were stuck to the ice.

The other made it to a snow covered bank.

By the time of the rescue, the temperature had dropped to 22 degrees.

All three teens were taken to the hospital and treated for mild hypothermia.
