Houston, TX – Rockets’ fans probably should have seen this coming, but Houston has finally had enough of their first round draft choice Royce White.

White is a big man from Iowa State who has an intense fear of flying which makes traveling around in the NBA a bit of a problem.

So much of one, the Rockets suspended White and issued this statement: “The Houston Rockets have suspended Royce White effective immediately for refusing to provide services as required by his Uniform Player Contract. We will continue to work with Royce to hopefully come to a resolution.” GM Daryl Morey

Rockets guard Jeremy Lin says,  “To be honest you know we’re kind of in, I don’t know much about the situation besides just what I have been reading online so we all miss him and we’re supporting him Hopefully we will be able to get him back soon.”

Rockets guard Toney Douglas adds, “He’s still our teammate. He’s still on our team and I honestly just pray for him every day Hope that whatever situation he got going on will get better.

Rockets head coach Kevin McHale says, “Royce the time I’ve spent with him is a nice young man and a good young man. I sure hope he gets this all straightened out. Gets back to something he loves which is play basketball.”

Hopefully the Rockets will be able to see White eventually flying in for more than a slam dunk.
