JAPAN – A giant squid has been caught on tape off the coast of Japan.

It’s a little hard to make out, but the mollusk has suckers lined with sharp teeth, and two wicked long tentacles.

It’s being called “Monster Squid.”

In other giant critter news, zookeepers in Australia have a 306 pound python.  ‘Atomic Betty’ retains her figure by eating goats.
