HOUSTON, TX – Lone Star College’s North Harris County campus reopened Wednesday, and the shooting was not far from anyone’s mind.

“It’s in the back of your head right now, that there was a shooting here yesterday,” said Timothy Colwell.

In the meantime, Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies say the shooter is 22-year-old Carlton Berry. He has been charged with aggravated assault.

Authorities say the campus shooting started as a confrontation between Berry and another man, Jody Neal. They were both wounded, along with a maintenance worker, Bobby Cliburn, who is expected to be okay. Another female student was also taken to the hospital for a medical issue.
