NEW ORLEANS, LA – Word that two-thirds of Destiny’s Child were joining Beyonce for her Super Bowl halftime gig had fans jumpin-jumpin, but member Michelle Williams is squashing that rumor saying that B will indeed be performing independently.

So that leaves us with one question: why not?

The bootylicious trio confirmed after eight years they’re releasing a new album: “Love Songs.”

So why not a live reunion?

Miss Williams is in the Musical “FELA!,” and will be in Washington, D.C., Sunday. Let’s hope she doesn’t fall on stage again.

All jokes aside, we’d love to see this group of survivors on stage again and we still get to see Beyonce take over the Superdome; just don’t forget to turn the mic on.
