ASPEN, CO – They are meant to be death-defying stunts, but an accident at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado last week, is a sobering reminder that the risks are just as high as those jumps.

The family of X Games medalist Caleb Moore says he is not likely to make it.

The 25-year-old from Krum, Texas is still hospitalized, after his failed jump and the snowmobile`s 450 pound impact. Moore got knocked unconscious, sustained a concussion, and was given emergency heart surgery. Now he reportedly has a complication in his brain.

If Moore does not survive, it would mark the first death in the 17 year history of the X Games.
