KAUFMAN, TX – A big reward could be yours if you know who gunned down Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse. The bounty is up $64,500.

Gunmen assassinated Hasse Thursday morning in the parking lot near the Kaufman County courthouse in Kaufman.

Police still have no leads. No license plate number, no description of the killers other than there were two of them dressed in black. One may have worn tactical clothing like a bullet-proof vest. They may have been driving an older model silver or brown ford Taurus.

Lawmen and civilians alike are on edge, so just a word to the wise: stay away from Kaufman for a while, especially if you wear black and drive a Taurus.
