HOUSTON, TX – Houston Rocket-turned-philanthropist Jeremy Lin launched the Jeremy Lin Foundation at Minute Maid Park.

Big names turned out to support Lin, whose foundation helps underprivileged children in the Houston area.

“Just to be able to do things like this and support Jeremy’s foundation and to see that he’s doing great things with the kids, that’s what it’s all about,” said Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls center.

Lin says he eventually wants to help out in the Bay Area, where he is from, and beyond.

“Years down the road, I definitely want to make an impact with third-world countries, and for our foundation to be able to do work in a lot of different areas across the world. But this is definitely the first step,” said Lin.

Talk about global Lin-sanity.

I always thought Lin has global vision with his travels in Asia. To say "Lin is a role model" is an understatement. What can't be overstated is that Jeremy Lin is a rare example. His faith & struggles inspired him into action, and action leads him to serve and sharing for the greater good in dark economic times.
Jeremy Lin's heart is truly unlimited. Wish him best in all his endeavors…
