MIAMI, FL – When it comes to gaffes, it looks like Marco Rubio is the one having the last laugh.

After getting choked up during his response to President Obama’s State of the Union address, the Florida senator took a pause on live TV to clear his throat with the help from a little H20.

Detractors were quick to have a laugh at the senator’s expense.

But any good politician knows to make the best of a bumpy road. And no one’s making better of this road that Marco Rubio.

First was a trip to Israel where he met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and mugged for the camera exchanging cheers over what else? Bottled water.

But more impressive is the campaign he’s launched to raise money for his political action committee. For a twenty-five-dollar donation, you can get your own bottle of pure, clean Marco Rubio brand water. Already he’s raised nearly $120,000 in sales.

Proving once again that there are some things you probably shouldn’t do on TV. But hey, for a hundred-and-twenty-grand, we’ll drink to that.
