HOUSTON – A former Humble ISD dance teacher is feeling the heat after she danced the wrong moves.

Amanda Feenstra, 30, is a former Humble dance teacher. She’s been charged with an improper relationship with a student. Humble ISD police say she did the dance in the dark with a then 17-year-old female student who was part of the Wild Cadets dance team. When the student wanted to end the relationship, Amanda allegedly wouldn’t leave her alone. That’s when all the details came to light and got to police.

Amanda was released at a $30,000 bond.

I hate how we are so quick to judge. From what I've heard, the student is just looking for a quick payday. She comes from a poor family and really had no support at home. The teacher was trying to offer a place to stay because the girl had no where to go. What a way to repay kindness that has been shown to you. The truth will come out during the trial and we will see that all the allegations are lies in an attempt at financial gain. I just hate seeing this teacher's life and reputation being destroyed.
