JONESBORO, AK – Let’s just say, if you’re drinking and driving, you’re not making the best choices in life. But for 28-year-old Jamie Craft, it wasn’t her under the influence crash that caused the most commotion, it was how she tried to flee the scene in a tiny little toy truck that has people talking.
The Arkansas woman was allegedly driving drunk when she slammed her 2001 Pontiac Grand AM into the side of a mobile home. Nobody in the trailer, nor Craft were hurt in the crash, but that’s when things went from bad to weird.
For some unknown reason, Craft takes her pants off and jumps in the closest, nearby vehicle… a child’s battery powered toy truck. Police just arriving at the scene give chase. Well, a “foot” chase at least! The 4 foot truck topped out at a whopping 5 miles per hour.
She was found with a blood alcohol level three-time the legal limit to drive adult autos. And with her getaway cut short Craft is facing an array of charges including disorderly conduct, driving with a suspended license, fleeing a scene and DUI. That’s no child’s play.
