PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA – A Photoshop Fail is when you try to turn a photograph into something it’s not. Like a magazine cover of a woman with too many fingers on her hands.

Sometimes people futz around with Photoshop just for fun. But it’s not funny when governments do it.

The Soviet Union was into photo manipulation long before Photoshop, as top commies made people disappear from photos, and from life.

North Korea, which has been threatening the world with all kinds of military mayhem, may have fired some Photoshop blanks when it released this photo of an amphibious landing during a recent military exercise.

Besides looking like something your little brother would do in the sandbox with some of those plastic army men, the North Koreans apparently added a couple of landing craft, at least according to the photo editor of the French Press Agency, who spotted the suspicious-looking duplicates.

Or maybe it was just that wild and crazy Li’l Kim horsing around again.
