BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – If you’re ever in South America and you ask; how much for that doggy in the window? Be careful not to get duped! An Argentinian man was tricked into thinking he was purchasing toy poodles, only to later find out he bought a couple of juiced-up ferrets!

This bait and switch schemes supposedly happened in an outdoor market in Buenos Aires. A shopper claims he was conned by a pair of weasels; two super-sized ferrets on steroids that were sold as dogs to the unsuspecting man who claims he paid a $150 a pop for each weasel.

The man came to the dog-gone conclusion when he took his new pets to the vet and they told him, he was sold what Argentinians call “Brazilian Rats” raging on ‘roids and with their fur fluffed out all poodle like!

Stories of ferrets sold as fake dogs were initially thought to have been the stuff of urban legends but now there’s a guy is claiming to have really been screwed by the pooch. Con or not; to us it sounds like this guy was just barking mad!
