MARIETTA, GA – When Apple releases a new product, like an iPad, everyone wants to get their hands on one. But a Georgia had one fall right in her lap, well more like her car.

The woman says she was driving out of a neighborhood when another car turned out in front of her and something came flying at her car. She says she didn’t feel or see anything and went about her day, running her errands and what not.

It wasn’t until she got home that her dad noticed the iPad lodged in her front bumper and snapped this picture. He used a hammer to wedge it out. And get this – the iPad still worked. The woman was able to turn it on and get the owner’s information. She returned it to him.

The owner of the iPad says he accidentally left the tablet on top of his car and drove off. Hopefully he had AppleCare.
