The race to recycle is on at the Houston Zoo!

The Houston Zoo celebrates Earth Day by teaching kids and parents how protecting the environment helps to protect wildlife.

The zoo has collected over 90 tons of recycling over the past 2 years.

You’d be surprised how ripping up some old newspapers can make a huge difference for an animal.

A special demonstration also taught the kids of the dangers of poaching in Texas.
